Mafia 72-Vampires game thread

Just one question: If i was a vamp, why would i vote switch. Don't say to save a teammate, casue that would be stupid. I had little suspition on myself, and vote switching to save Ice would have just incriminated him like it has. My vote switching would not have helped the scum team if both me and Ice were scum, cause then you would have 2 people to look at who were vamps. Instead, you have at least 1 innocent to look at.

Your late vote switch (1 minute before nightfall) IMO was very calculated. I do not think Ice is your team mate, I think your late switch was an attempt to incriminate him, by making it look like you were saving him...

I think we have our team. FF,2H and Dag.

:iagree: Unless things drastically change over the next 36 hours, my vote will be going to one of these three as well -which ever one leads in the votes so we can take them out.

well, I have not taken the time to write down the votes thus far but I have to get back to work and I wanna go ahead and place my vote; I will be voting where my very first vote of the game was: I vote to stake TwoHobbies. I am finding that even after I second and third guess myself, my first instinct is typically correct.

A thought: If we wind up with a tie between FF and 2H, perhaps we should ask the slayer to take out Dag? They would not have to out themselves, just go with the concensus and make the hit.....

Yes but if there was a priestly protection and a failed turn it would have been in the nightfall. LR said she would report all turns and kills. Besides that is the way these games are played unless stated otherwise.

Ok, ok, you win, but only because i would rather we look into toher players and not what the mod did/does.

Here I asked FF what he thought about 2H

He thinks 2H is scummy but he still refuses to vote him even after the missed bite.

Still don't see why the vamp team would target someone with that many votes on them, especially with a chance of it being tied up.

Also look again. Wiz made the FF case sometime that evening and I voted FF in the morning before I left for work.

Now FF doesn't want Dags posts looked into. It won't be hard they are all against me and not looking anywhere else.

The only reason I could see the move being made by FF is because they saw a chance to take out Kash who is a really good player and would still be able to take me out today. When I had shown innocent Kash was gold and they wouldn't be able to lynch her, the priest would be protecting her so they couldn't turn her in the future either so this was their best chance.

I'd be willing to vote any of the 3 of Dag FF and 2H.

Feel free to vote me, but when i die and the vamps laugh at you its not my problem, cause ill be dead. and helping decide where the stake goes.

WTH are you talking about? Dawg is not even playing?

Then it would be Dag. Sheesh, sorry for the misname. Thats what i get for posting b4 7. I was in a rush cause today is the last day I can get to the site from home, and then bye bye macs. So i have until probably 9:30-10:30 to be on, then i can no longer access the site. Not until i get home anyway, and even then only if my mom is OK with me borrowing her work computer.

Because i totally didn't give any warning... If it had been a surprise i could understand you all being annoyed, but I had been posting about it for about an hour beforehand, so you cannot claim i was surprising you. And yes, it was calculated, but only is such a way that it was guaranteed to be a coin flip. Thats why I did it the very last possible minute.

They may, they may not.

Well, my first instinct was to vote Ice (at least it was from day 2 onward) and when i stopped listening to it Kashta got killed so ima listen to in now.

Just an idea: What if the seer came out and told us who was who (so far, anyway) and the priest protected? Plz try to find as many possible ways this could go wrong, i don't want to screw up again.

toher+other

Ok, so this is the last couple of minutes i get with the mac...:(

Dangerous why? Cause I messed up? Cause I vote switched to make it a coin flip with two people the town had decided were the most likely scum? How does that work out? And why would you vote me even if i wasn't a vamp? That would only hurt the town.

Not because you messed up anyone can mess up, but because you mess up spectacularly and repeatedly. Your actions look scummy and yet we give you the benefit of the doubt because the behavior is expected. No body with any regard for the town would have made the jump you made last night, as the only possible reason to make it would be to save a teammate. Yet because we expect you to be erratic we think maybe it's just FF being FF. You cost the town an innocent, your erratic behavior is distracting at best and disastrous at worst. Even as an innocent you endanger the town.

On the other hand you could be evil and get away with things that no one else could possibly get away with. Under the right guidance that could be a powerful tactic.

Okay why no turn?

I don't believe Ice's first theory that the turn was supposed to come from someone who wasn't on at the time. If they knew they weren't going to be on they would have sent the turn when they sent their vote. Also with multiple vamps someone else would have picked up the slack when they realized the vote sender wasn't around. No missing the vote because of absence seems improable to me.

I also feel priest protection is equally unlikely when the turn was staked it was revealed and I think LR would do the same on a save. Saves have been reported in other games and I see no reason why that wouldn't be the case here.

Okay after the events that followed night fall I have some thinking to do and posts to pull.

For now,

I retract my vote to stake FF.

I will study further after getting home and determine who looks scummiest to me at that time and place my vote.
