I meant - ice is the only one with no votes. I realize now that there are plenty of others that don't have any, they're just on the list because of the redacted vote. Doh!

Oh...I actually did have an LG vote, but to answer your question I'm to good to lynch, well till I put my foot in my mouth...

Well, I need to place a vote. I usually do not like to vote noob on day 1 but the slip from Pat bothers me the most at this point. I vote to lynch Pat. I have only played a game or two with UN so not seeing what a few others are altho I am not willing to clear him; the other two in the running (dawg & bally) I am not seeing a case for them yet either......Rich is certainly posting more but I dont think this reflects his role - it never has before.
I am sorry i am lagging a bit but i hope to be more up to speed by tomorrow.

Sorry Rich. I have to say, I hate reading to catch up after I've been gone all day (shopping=:barf, thinking things to quote/point out as I read along, only to find someone else has beaten me to the punch. Then I have to agree with them, and that kinda makes me queasy too. Happened with Ice too, but he saw what I saw, and I'm not going to ignore what I saw just because someone else saw it too.

I didn't realize that only dawg had voted for him, but the post was refering to how a sudden stream of posts against pat appeared. It was nothing more than an observation.

Now what exactly is that? I've been getting better and better each game at making good posts by watching what the veterans do. I tried to pull the same strategy last game (you know, trying to find the bad guys) and got lynched D1. As a matter of fact, I've been lynched on Day 1 my only 2 times as a townie. Perhaps you have a problem with me making crisp and intelligent posts?

As too Pat digging himself a deeper hole, I was refering to how he neglected to answer questions directed at him for quite some time. He finnaly answered both my questions and razzlefish's much later, which seemed to have been after someone instructed him to do so. I remeber when the scum pen kept telling me to answer questions, and I bet that rich was there instructing him again.

Yes your right, Rich's play style has been different. Yes its good that he is posting a lot more, but a good question to ask would've been why. His game strategy fools everyone time after time, and you can never know what he is until the roles become revealed. Why change a strategy that works so well? Also, where is he now?

I like that you built up a decent case against me, it's good that we are all working pro-town right now. Could you please explain what my evil game was? I've played sloppily for the majority of all four games on D1, and this one is different. How does it make it my "evil" game?

You particularly said "votes", implying a dogpile onto PP. Seems like you were trying to sway people with such a statement, then you go to do the opposite of what you were criticizing.

Sorry, but your posts this game are reminiscent of your posts from the game when you were evil. If you would like to post crisp and intelligent posts then I encourage that. Yes you've played sloppily in previous games, but this game doesn't seem drastically cleaner from what I've read.

I'm curious as to what type of strategy talk you are looking for...vote low posters? vote high posters? vote people who post too many smilies?

It's a basic mafia game and since most have played I don't see what strategy you could possibly implement that needs to be discussed. So far it seems that people are favoring the low posters though.

What I was looking for was exactly what happened after I posted about there being too much fluff. People started posting more about the game and less about comic books and geek/nerd BS.

Day 1 strategy is oxymoronic in my opinion. Typical day 1 is leap on a slip, lynch an innocent, apologize, move on, try to find some pattern in the voting that can help Day 2.

I'm okay with asking for thoughts but if we don't allow people to post their fluff there isn't much oppurtunity for them to slip up. Sure you have to sift through the crap but without it's there's nothing to look for.

I would agree but I guess with so many people playing the pages and pages of BS were getting to be too much.

Had to toss out that first part but I didn't really see learning multiquote as truly relevant as its not that hard to figure out. Second part of my statement is where I really am at this point

Didn't disappear...just work and then riding bikes with the kids, dinner, put kids to bed, then back to Mafia.

Dawg does that a lot, IME.

I'm still comfortable with my vote. I'm not so comfortable with the possible UDs so close to night.

On first read User's post struck me as odd but after rereading it - it doesn't seem much more than his usual parroting maybe it was just the multiquote.
PeePee could just be noobing out - I'm undecided.
In the interest of not UDing I vote to lynch JM - the DD mystery case he alluded to makes me wonder if he was up to something or just skimming.

As far as timing for the next nightfall. How do you guys feel? I can do earlier if you want. I know that most of you guys are much further east than I am which makes it pretty late for some. I chose 7pm for today to give a little more time for day 1 and to make sure that I got to my own home before nightfall.

I'm off work this week, so I can really do any time you guys want.
