I agree with what someone else said - that first you start out pointing a finger at Pat for learning how to multi quote (which I do find suspicious since he did not ask anyone in the game thread) and then you turn around and defend him.
the bolded part of your quote is a bit confusing but it sounds like you are pointing a finger at anyone who mentions Pat being suspicious. Are the two of you jock pals, perhaps?

I already explained the first part. I figured out multiquoting on my own so I don't see why anyone else would have a problem doing so.

As to the second part it wasn't anyone who was pointing a finger. I was looking for a specific scenario as I described in my post. One that in my first game I saw run over and over again with great effectiveness. Let someone get called on some inconsequential "slip" then subtly keep that person on everyone's radar so they forget about everyone else.

ps. just got off work will be back in a while to study up and see if I have anything new to add

I don't have a problem voting for PP right now either but FF just doesn't seem like himself. Only 6 posts thus far tells me something is up with him too. I figur I'll put my vote on FF and see if that gets him to participate more in this game.

I would have to concur jbradt. I was trying to watch footbasket or whatever they call it and (the one with the leather prolate spheroid) and I nearly spit out my Mountain Dew. All the years I've been tortured by these guys?

I see a lot of would-be jocks out there that aren't piping up.. I think we need to hit them first and hard. Who hasn't said a peep this game and has been flying under the radar? Sounds like a jock thing to do to let the geeks turn on themselves!

I hope you don't mind that I answer a question with a question.

As I am a geek I cannot communicate with other geeks. If I were a jock I'm assuming they know who the other jocks are. Why would I openly disclose a partnership or alliance with someone? Doing so would put a target on both of us. There are two ways you can read this:
1) I am a new player getting into my role as a geek and allowing my excitement target me.

2) I am putting a target on both of us, risking my own role in this game. Dumb!

Now what seems more likely?

These were the posts happening shortly before my comment about her instigating. These posts started it all which is why I pointed my finger at her.

If you read the pages following, her comments started the discussion line re: jbradt and myself. If you fail to see that then there is really nothing more I can say. LadyG is not currently on my radar, does that mean she and I are in cahoots?

ok, so she is not on your radar but you continue to call her out and point your finger at her for "instigating"....trying to deflect the attention away from you onto someone else?

If your strategy is going to be: take the person the talks the most, try and corner him and demand he defends himself then go for it. It may be a game but it's not fun anymore :/

I vote to lynch user_name for now..

My reasoning is that it being day one (as more experienced people have said) I haven't had a chance to feel very many people out. Plus I spent most of it with my foot in my mouth digging an unnecessarily deep hole. I am simply listening to other people who state that your responses are "typical of being guilty". I am too lazy to quote right now.. Once I see how people vote tonight I can better play the game..

I honestly wish I had the bandwidth to do so. I have learned there are no such thing as allies or friends in this game so I'm having to take a "shot in the dark" as someone said. But, it's never too late to change my vote..

I meant - ice is the only one with no votes. I realize now that there are plenty of others that don't have any, they're just on the list because of the redacted vote. Doh!

Not sure where I place PP right now. Did he know JB was a geek and cozy up to appear innocent or was that really just day one goofing off?
I do not like the way he points his finger at LG but yet says she is not on his radar. Seems pretty scummy to me.
I would really like to hear more from him before I put my vote back on him......

That's why I said maybe I missed something. And no, Chill wasn't protecting me. It's my nature not to be able to resist a real dare, such as the one Ice put forth.

Now your statement there actually makes me happier with my joke vote. And I do not accept your dare since it does not seem sincere.

How do you know her dare isn't a real one? Did you talk it out before hand, try to make a reason for your joke vote on Ice? I'll be interested to see if Lab's vote changes come night fall.

you agreed with Pappy that my case against Chill was weak. When did Pappy say that.... in the chat room because he certainly didn't say it here. I vote Bally for what I found to be suspicious and I was the 2nd vote on her. Why not select those others who put the 2nd vote on folks, no. Instead, you put some garbage about agreeing with Pap that my case against Chill was weak. Where did I say I had a case against Chill. The only thing I said about Chill was that he had 10 posts prior to someone calling him out saying he had plenty of posts. To me, that was not plenty of posts at the time where there was over 200 posts already made. That being the case, I was merely questioning why Paps would indicate that Chill was being so talkative when that didn't seem the case to me. So as far as people on my list and this finding... I guess I have Paps on my list for making such a statement and burrying voting for me to seemingly keep me off his case.
However, I think you might have slipped somewhere between here and your other board..... you know, similar to how PP did.... who has also made my list.

What did I do that was suspicious? You immediately switched votes from Jb to me when he said he thinks I'm innocent ( missed the quote in multiquote, I can go back and find it if anyone wishes ). You also bring up the issue that my vote could be a cover vote for the hit. I think you knew Jb was going to take a the hit so you switched your vote to me because once Jb takes the hit you point out that my vote was a cover, to do like Jpap said and take out another innocent.

Ok quick skim and I wanted to pull the post I spoke of this morning

not only that, but he has been in almost every one of these online RPG type games where we try to find out who is who. and he's good at it.

Woops... I have a question for labby... I think that your vote needs some lookin at as well. You were the kill vote on UN, and you say it was because of a dare with JR. You trying to cover up something and explain your killing of an innocent?

And ice, seems a little convenient that you were second on UN... Not first soupy wouldn't start a train, but not the dreaded third spot or the kill vote.

Now 1st off Labs vote on UN wasn't a dare. I dared her to vote me.

I'm not even sure how to answer the comment against me so I'm scummy because I didn't vote 1st 3rd or the kill vote?

JM's "slip" about DD's case on Chill is certainly odd, but I am tempted to let it slide for now...The last game I played with him, he also flubbed up pretty bad and caught crap for it for days & got lynched. He wound up being innocent. I don't want to see that happen again if this is a typical thought process with him.

This is somewhat true. But at what point do we stop overlooking things like this. It becomes the perfect cover to hide as evil because it will always be well they've been innocent and acted that way before.

With all JMs slips and wild cases against Lab and me I'm not willing to let it become something I can just brush off.

No Ice, not deflecting anything. I wanted to see if anyone had ideas as to who would want JB gone if they were evil and didn't think it was smart to overlook the obvious (at least obvious to anyone who played the werewolf game). I figured someone would say something like this, but I also figured if I didn't say anything about me being an obvious choice then someone would call that out. A damned if you do, damned if you don't situation and I wanted to put that question out there.

Noods, like the case breakdowns. Glad I don't have to do all my own work especially with the kid always on the comp lol.

Don't see anything on Mav that stands out and on PP the only things that stand out are his cozying up to JB and his point but not vote on LG.
Not sure myself if its just noobness or if he and LG are team mates.

I'm going to revisit Day 1 tonight when I get a chance. Its amazing what you find when players don't feel pressure.
