What is the Meaning of Your Screen Name?

I see some very interesting/unusual screen names used by some of the members here. How did you come up with it? I'll start by saying that in Latin my handle means "under the rose". During the time of the Roman Empire when the senate convened a meeting requiring secrecy a rose was suspended from the ceiling of the meeting chamber. This was a sign to all present that what transpired was not to leave the room. Who's next?

Well...Juice/Juicy is my nickname and it has been since I can remember. I believe it had something to do with me sucking my thumb...lol most people call me juice or OJ- it's rare that I hear my real name!

My fist initial is J and part of my last name is spig. Put the two together and add an "s" to the end and you get Jspigs.

Mine was completely random.

I opened to a random page in my pop culture book and the title of the chapter was something along the lines of " newspapers, railways and ballyhoo"....or something

I needed a username when I created my account and that's what first came to mind. Along with the fact that I won't hesitate to slap a fool across the mouth and face with a big, slimy, wet fish.

I was working as a network engineer and overheard some bad information being given repeatedly. I went to the person and said "excuzzzeme, but. . . . ." I found it happening alot. I was finally able to put a stop to the bad info and unfortunately it nearly cost a person their job.

I registered with this name at another site when I was doing a lot of pre-clinical bench research in oncology (working on PhD at the time). Was always in the lab, and my friends and I up there referred to ourselves as lab rats. Figured I'd keep the same name when I came here.
