Mafia #77 Game thread- Back to the basics

Oh ya I retract my vote on Pir and vote to lynch Zaffy. As I said I don't care what order they go in but Kash is right known mafia can end up getting left in game a long time if you don't knock them out first thing happened my first game.

I was looking forward to more envolvement with that role. The reason I ask this, is because I believe that pir is the snitch. I think that learned that the mafia was on to him, so he tried to "Help out the town" . by going rogue, the mafia figured out who was who and used pir's ploy to take out rich, while alienating the one player who could derail their whole team.

I noticed that S4S posted a vote 10 minutes before nightfall. not much of an explanation, and he has really quieted down since after D1 nightfall. Where are you salt?

I see zaffy as scum, and i've figured him to be just that for awhile now. There definitely seems to be sides forming up, it's a matter of finding out whos who at this point.

I can't help but wonder what your real interest is in getting the snitch list out today. Yes I read the Pir might be snitch part but I think there might be some thing more to it than that. Either you got something real good cooked up that you can't wait to get out, or you want to get a list out today while there is known scum to put on the list. No I don't think the town would benefit from the list today. The snitch is still mafia and they could easily list Zaffy, Pir and two innocents.

This bothers me a little bit Kash given that you're reknowned for your thoroughness. Here you say you checked the rules (at least the night fall order of events) and then shortly after you start talking about mafia investigations. Shouldn't you have noticed that there was no mafia investigation in the night time order?

I'm not really buying this super skimming claim. You're earlier posts didn't seem to be skimming.

I went back and looked through Pir and Rich's posts. Pir had been hinting for a long time that he knew Haydn was scum. The logistical questions he's asked (what's a PR, when is nightfall) seem like BS to me. If I am to believe he's as quick to pick up on the game as to not get stressed when being voted off the island, then I find it hard to believe this was a mystery.

When I looked into Rich's posting, I was thinking back to a game not too long ago when Rich was indeed the detective. I don't remember what game it was exactly, but I think the role was termed "seer" that time. I'm not liking what I see. I was shocked to find Rich as one of the higher posters. And I'm happy to see this trend in recent games. :grinyes: But I also noticed that the increase in posts didn't exactly translate to an increase in content. In fact, it seems even his "game related" posts are filled with non-committal coated in vague-ity. Until it comes to throwing out baseless accusations.

I highly suspect JM. He has done everything he can to discredit Pir without even acknowledging the possibility of his claim being real. He has stayed calm through the whole exchange which I think we can all agree from recent games is probably through the help of a team, and having a den to communicate in. He seems to have a much better grasp on the thread as well, since he has mates to talk it over with before posting.

I also suspect User but don't have enough to really say why yet.
