4300 Gallon Plywood Build (3600+ Take 2)

no word from pete yet ?
I think he went a little crazy on the last coat and got stuck in the rubber he cannot reach the pc to give us an update.

Hey just wondering how the test fill went? If you were able to do it. Hope it all goes well because the suspense is killing me.

+1

Pete, guess there's two possible reasons for no reply yet:
1. You filled up, no leaking and you're sleeping off all the beers to celebrate it...
2. You filled up, leaking again, and you knocked yourself out banging your head against the wall.

Well, there might be No.3: Not filled up yet.

Come on! Let us know already!!! P.S. Can I live with you? I'm not allowed to have monster tanks here. :/

4) massive rupture, flash flood, drowned
5) passed out from the vapors of another 10 coats

Gf and Ken think I should put more coats on it before testing.

Life and the universe have been getting in the way of having time to do so.

Thus, no test.

There are no vapors since Permadri contains no VOCs.

There are no ruptures since the thing is built like a fortress or log cabin as someone once said.

Sept 19th is our aquarium society swap meet/silent auction, so I have to get about 4 gallons of the last 5 gallon bucket on the tank before then. I'm filling the tank, leak or no leak, and having one of the barrel filters running for that day. Also, trying to have the pond up and running by then.

Sept 18th we're having a garage sale, so have to do a lot of work with that.

That's the latest. Been riding my bicycle 7.5 miles one way to work. Still don't have a replacement for my truck. We don't want to jump into buying something we don't really want. At almost 250, I'm sure the 15 mile round trip bike ride 5 days a week won't hurt me.
