Any one here from Colorado?

I have two 80 gallons freshwater and a 29 gallon also freshwater. Been reading up on saltwater, hoping one day I can start up a saltwater tank. How about yourself?

I have three 10 gallon tanks, 1 is a hospital/QT tank, one is for female Guppies and fry and the third I am setting up as half water, half land for I don't know what yet lol! I have a 55 gallon community tank with male guppies, 11 cory cats and a TON of snails. The 55 is planted, the 10's are not. The half and half tank will be, but it still needs to be set up. I am also getting a a 100 gallon and a 125 gallon this weekend. The 125 has OB Peacocks, a Johanna Pike, a hybrid catfish and a royal pleco. The 100 gallon has nothing in it so I am going to plant that one and probably have angels or rainbows or both. I am getting another 100 gallon from my uncle that I don't know what to do with yet!

How about a 100 gallon Guppy tank!

How about a 100 gallon Guppy tank!

No thank you lol!! I have had so many problems with my guppies it is ridiculous!! I had ick, cotton 2X, fin rot and dropsy(not from my tank water, I bought the fish thinking it was preggers and two days later she was a friggen pinecone). I can't find quality healthy guppies!! Have you been to Tropical Fish Warehouse? It is in Aurora, but I have never gone, would it be worth it??

I was thinking of moving the OBs, and the pike and catfish and pleco to the 100 gallon and doing a 125 discus tank.... who knows though!! Inspiration hasn't hit yet...

I am really getting into cichlids, but I hate only having 2-3 fish in one tank. I want a bunch of community cichlids, but I don't really know of any that would do really well together. I like the idea of a huge cory cat tank though... hmm, we will see!!

Yea denver tropical warehouse is right next to me. Its a pretty decent place to go. They have a lot of variety and prices not all too bad and im sure you can catch a deal if you talking to the owner or somethin Ive seen some rare and cool fishes there before. Also Golden fish in denver is a pretty nice place to go also.

I have a 30-40 gallon guppy tank in the living room with a bunch of them in there. Maybe one day I will do a 100 gallon guppy tank and some other fish..

Whatever you decide I think it would be pretty cool based off of some of your ideas.. I thought about getting like a hundred cory cats for my tank too but lol dont know either...

Do you like it there?? I would miss my mountains lol
I do like it here. I grew up here. We have mountains, though they're completely different than the Rockies. Nothing beats the pallet of colors here in the fall. I do miss Colorado already, but it's pretty here too, and I have lots of old friends.

My mom took me to Maryland and D.C. in the fall one year, I think I was 9, and I remember thinking WOW, look at all the COLORS! It is very beautiful, and although the mountains are not the rockies, I am not such a co snob:grinno:, I realize how beautiful the mountains there are!!! I am glad you like it, and I am glad you have reconnected with friends!

I went to denver tropical warehouse and i agree that they have a large selection and pretty decent prices on discus. But many of their fish were pretty pricey IMO. They have a big selection but most fish are not juvies but pretty close to fully grown. I really like pet palace because they have pretty good prices and the owner will order fish for you.

Well my tanks are in my signature. I am going to have a mbuna tank and i'm wating to get my fish in i had to order them and my 29 gallon is a cork scape planted tank and i am going to get more apisto cacatoides and glowlight tetra's.

I can't believe you have soo many tanks guppygirl. I wish i had room for that many tanks but my apartment is tooo small. You should do an African cichilid tank... that way you can put lots of fish in your tank and cichlids have the best personality.
