I got a dumb question. Are all Pitchers in the same family? Are all Sundews The same family? I know all VFT's are cuz well there is on one species of VFT just different color variations.

Nepenthes are tropical pitchers from SE Asia in their own family. There are also Sarracenia and Darlingtonia found in North America and Heliamphora from South America in another...Cephalotus from Australia are in their own. All drosera are in the same family as VFTs I think...

Weeee! Great news everyone!

Do you guys remember a few weeks back when I planted those sundew seeds? Right now I'm seeing extremely tiny leaves popping out of the media!! Yay! Downside, I don't know what they are.

Also, the Capensis mother plant has a million tiny capensis in the pot. I guess my addiction will spread.
