Played one once during winter carnival when I was in University - foot of snow on the field, no equipment, full contact, half drunk and we we're playing against a bunch of rugby players - it was painful but less painful then watching.

Yea, but the sports bars around here show only the east coast teams - besides, I would rather stay home where I dont have to be burdened with being the designated driver and have my own fun!!!
That's crazy! When I was in ATL and now here in SATX you can get any game at a decent sports bar. I mean they even play Bengals games, no matter how bad the Bengals are.

So far the only one not to check in is LG. I think she had some family obligations or something she posted in the sign up thread iirc.
This is a really small town - if we are extremely lucky a Seahawks game will be on one channel but with no volume - the local games take presidence. The locals are very faithful (& very Redneck) and do not tolerate interruptions of their game! it is just easier to stay home....like you said - you have to make sacrifices and I would rather stay home and have fun and drink a few beers....
