Fishfriends 40 gallon tank build thread

In that case, she's not there, maybe it happened to go to fishy heaven? A pond would be fishy heaven ya know...

you should have been evil in the mafia game. I could do that... :tombstone: calico and bubbles. Now anyone here want random goldfish numbers 1,2,3,4,5, and 6?

I'd post a "free" ad in the classified section here, you'll get more traffic than in this thread.

I am really glad you are trying to do right by the fish, and I understand you wanting them to go to a good home. As far as how to ship, a good way to start would be starting a thread about it, and also trying to talk to some of the vendors on AC that have shipped goldies. My very little experience in shipping has just been tiny fish and inverts, so I apologize that I can offer no help on how to ship, but I know there havet o be people on AC who have and do ship goldfish that could tell you how. Good luck! - Ash

Almost every LFS I have been to will take fish back for free... Have you tried petsmart/petland/petsupplysplus? Most chain LFS will take fish back for free. Like it has been mentioned before you do not need to be so picky about where the fish go. The need to be re-homed immediately imo.

If only it were that easy. I tried petco, they only take back fish they sold to you. Haven't checked Petsmart, but i would assume they have the same thing. Never heard of petland, and i haven't been to petspluse in ages, I'll have to check in with them too.

why not just put them in the man-made pond you were talking about that one of them came from...? if there are already goldfish living in there, then they would probably be happier in there than a tank that is too small with poor water quality...
you could also try posting them on craigslist... you have to re-post often. you can't try to re-home them for just a week and then give up. maybe someone who could give them a suitable home starts looking the day you give up? you have to keep going, keep trying.
just my suggestions... good luck.

Ok, called petspluse, they will take in the goldfish as donations only. I can accept that. So, by the end of today I will no longer have those goldfish in my care, thank god. And I dought im getting the 40gal either.

I'm glad you got the gold fish situation worked out FF.
Perhaps you can get your parents to tell your sister the reason behind their absence.
