It's going to be a regular structured mafia game but with a Marvel Comics Hero/Villain theme

How are you going to control Mystique only seeing 1 players identity?

I think Nightcrawlers power is to strong. Once the innocent team knows all the evil players they can never be tricked into voting another innocent player.

Does Wolverine/Apolocolaypse need to PM his choice of protection at night fall or can he see who was hit then sacrifice himself?

mystique/nightcrawler only see one player because I tell them one, they don't actually go there. perhaps it will be easier if they each get a clue. like they just missed the scum but someone dropped something.

would it be better if each team could either hit/protect someone 50/50 each night and wolverine/apocalypse each get 2 guaranteed protections?

I was just trying to make things fair and interesting. I'm still learning

I think your way is fine, just trying to get clarification on if the protection needed to be sent in prior to night fall events.
You could tell the teams during night fall who the hit was and decide if they want to protect them or not

or

make them send in a name prior to night fall and if protection isn't needed on that person it isn't used. (like this better)

Here are my thoughts on some PR's
Evils
Magneto: Has 1 guaranteed hit, can use his magnetic ability to pull one vote away from a person on odd nights. He can't place that vote somewhere else, can only render it ineffective.
Mystique: Uses her disguise ability to sneak into the hero's den and glimpse the identity of one player.
Apocalypse: Using his immortality he has 2 protections to offer the scum team.

Hero's
Professor X: He has 1 guaranteed hit. Using his superior mind control abilities he has the power to manipulate one person's vote every odd night.
Nightcrawler: Using his transportation abilities he has the ability to warp to the location of the evil lair once per game
Wolverine: Because of his rapid healing he has the ability to sacrifice himself, only twice, to protect someone else.


what does everyone think of these PR's/teams?


The nightcrawler/mystique discoveries can not be the hits by either team. The team has to convince the town to lynch them. They also not role claim

Can Wolverine block Magnetos guaranteed hit and vice versa for the other team? I like the manipulating the vote thing, it will happen for both teams on the same night, correct? What if both teams choose to manipulate the same persons vote? Will the manipulated votes be announced? Can Professor X place his manipulated vote wherever they want, or will it be rendered ineffective like Magnetos?

Mystique will know all hero players if allowed in the chat. Maybe whoever is Mystique can choose which hero's role they want revealed instead, by PMing the mod. Same goes for Nightcrawler, should be limited to a single player.

Does Apocalypse protect from lynches? If so, imo that is too powerful. Does Wolverine have to PM his sacrifice in before the events of nightfall? If not, that is too powerful imo. Also, Wolverine should not be able to protect from lynches.

I had an idea for a new power role for a future game. I was thinking there could be a psychic who can communicate with players that have died. Players would not know who is the psychic unless they can figure it out (like most power roles).
