Underground Nuclear testing,oil spills,air pollution,chemical warfare,Scientists introducing a virus to eliminate some pest species.."No" i got it..its Nonindigenous species released by pet owners..Pacu and Snakehead taking the world over..We will never know.. lol
What exactly is this theory that you believe in? The Mayans believed that it WAS NOT the end of days, but a new cycle of creation when their gods would return. This doesn't point towards an "apocolypse" but towards the return of celestial beings (extra-terrestrials) who have communicated with Earth in the past.
The 2012 stuff is bull for the most part anyways, and judging by your user name it seems even more rediculous.

2. The Mayan calendar ends on 21/12/12 and it is shown as floods and fire. They believed it will be the end of an age where there is destruction before a new age begins.
3. If you read up not all the 2012 stuff is "bull" as you put it. Scientists have found that there is going to be huge amounts of solar activity next year with large solar flares and when there's one large enough it will be able to short circuit the national grid, leaving the world without power.
So I suggest you actually read up on this stuuf before you say things.

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. My question to you is, if you truly believe this is the end date of all mankind (which is only one interpretation) how are you coping? Knowing the exact date of one's demise can destroy a person mentally, so how does this effect you? I am truly curious! I know that if I thought I knew what exact day I & everyone I knew was going to die, I would probably go insane!
I too have wondered this same thing. My theory is this, if we are doomed then we are doomed, not much we can do about it.
I'll be fine. This tinfoil hat says so. Seriously, what's the point in worrying. If we really are headed for some sort of cataclysmic event, isn't it more comforting that we'll all go out at once, rather than alone, and due to some boring natural causes? The end of days squawkers come around every few years, yet lo and behold, we are all still here.

I have believed for a long time and as petluvr said if it's going to happen then it's going to happen. If it is the end of the world then unless the planet is literally blown up then life will evolve again as it did millions of years ago with the dinosaurs.
