Does anyone have a recommendation for a plant that can replace some anacharis that isn't working out? I'm looking for something with some height (up to 18") for low to moderate lighting. I've tried Cabomba (melted) and already have some water sprite that is doing well. I have just under 3 watts/gal and DIY CO2. Idealy, I'd like to provide some cover for my RCS.

hygros would grow like a weed and provide good cover. Shrimp always love moss as well (not much height there but you can always manipulate it)
water wisteria and hornwort are always good. Java moss of course. Guppy grass is also pretty good.

Ludwigia is very similar. I think you might like the look of Cuban ludwigia better, but repens would do better in moderate lighting.
I've considered Hortwort. I've tried Cabomba which melted and turned into a huge mess. With Hortwort being somewhat similar in appearance, I was afraid of the same thing happening. How hardy is it?
