$20? How much to have an Eyelash Viper bite you? It's a totally non-lethal bite, and I'm sure I can get some friends together and drum up some decent coin to watch that show! Lmk!
 
i will agree with every one else that said :shakehead:

stressing a fish by netting it, holding it out of water for an extended period of time, and making it bite you for 20 bucks? seriously..... (content removed due to BFM's lack of brain to mouth filter sometimes).

that depends.. if there's a hospital nearby with antivenom and i get enough money, i wouldnt mind getting bitten
 
There's no anti-venom, but it's a very mild venom. More so than even a Copperhead. It's a sure thing that you won't die(unless you're allergic of course) but you'll probably wish you did while it's happening. Give me a number.
 
Why not make your piranha bite you? That was a dumb thing to do. Not to mention, it was probably stressful for the fish. You squeezed it so it would bite you, and held it in the net like that. Both would generally be considered no-no's.

Also, if it's being kept in the 55, it's not in adequate conditions. Just saying. It's either overstocked or lonely. (minimum school would be at least 3) 1 piranha per 25g is a general rule. Do a little math (might not be the easiest thing for you), and you would need a 75g minimum aquarium.

I have let my 2ft silver arowana bite me but in the tank... I wouldn't let my 16" red bellied pacu bite me tho. As far as infections, I put my hands in the tank with open cuts enuff on a daily basis where it wouldn't make a difference...

My only reason for it was to show my kids not to put their hands in fish tanks lol. They used to always ask and saying no wasn't enuff, but once they saw the blood they never asked again...

It wasn't that bad anyway...

But ya I wouldn't net it to do it...
