I didn't rinse my Fluorite...

I can't tell exactly what's going on in the picture because I'm viewing it on my phone with a lot of glare, but I'm assuming it's very cloudy. It will eventually settle. Run your filter to help clear it up but be sure to clean the filter media once it's cleared up. There will probably be a lot of gunk in the filter. Next time, add the new substrate then place the plastic bags that it came in on top of the substrate and pour the water into the tank onto the bags then remove the bags when you're done. That should help prevent some clouding.

+1 for chocolate milk

drain it, clean the sides of the glass then place a garbage bag on the bottom and refill slowly. i promise you your better off not rinsing flourite because if you rinse your washing away tons of nutrients.oh ya put some weight on the bags corners and in the middle, once the tank is full take off the wieght and pull out the bag and your going to have pretty clean water

when i kept a planted tank i never used fert tabs and never had a problem growing from crypts to dwarf baby tears unlike when using somthing like pool filter or play sand i always needed fert tabs to get any good growth
