Frozen Fish Survive!

There is no way your fish froze solid and is now alive and well. No way..

However it is cool that they are around..

Did you read my last post?

You will find that most times in life you actually do know, if you're willing to put in the work necessary to find out. In this particular case I assure you that I have put in that work.

You make a cogent argument.
On the other hand, your avatar creeps the hell out of me every time I see it.

While it is most likely that there was a small pocket of liquid water somewhere, it's also possible for the water to be frozen solid and the fish to not have their tissues frozen since they would have a lower freezing temperature, in which case, both the observation that the water in the pond was frozen entirely are possible.

That's what I think actually happened. There must have been a small pocket of water. You guys made a good point!

Thank you!

theres a species of frogs that freezes solid for 4-5 months in northern US and after winter is is totally fine
