how doesnt it make since. he said he's moving his 16 angels in there until they pair up. well theres no way thell be an even number of boys and girls so they wont all pair up. so the remaining angels he could make an angelfish school bc in the wild angelfish school.

oh, srry, just without that context it didnt make any sense. :)

??? that doesnt really make sense. and wats rong with them pairing up?

They get aggressive when paired... I don't think more then 1 pair of angels in that tank would work. If you want to do an angel school, find some place you can ask for all females, and don't do the pair.

U really can't sex angels until they start breeding. Otherwise, they all look the same, u can make educated guesses based on size and behavior, but only like 50%. And I am only putting the 16 angels in there to grow out to sell, and maybe let them pair off, and as soon as they pair off, I'll leave the others in the tank, and take out the pairs and sell them.

the best way to tell is by color, IMO.

yeah, but thats only possible when u have adults, not juvies

bulldog pleco!

and why no angels? i love em in your tanks!

i have to take out the breeding pairs, bc they'll kill he rest of the fish:(

i'll keep the other non pairs in there.

i am seriously thinking about something along these lines

6-8 angels
12 corydoras
20 harlequin rasboras
1 neon blue gourami
1 male blue betta
4 yoyo loaches
1 upside down catfish
1 clown pleco
1 long fin ABN pleco

OR instead of putting in the male blue betta, i'll put that in a different tank, and instead of 20 harlequin rasboras, i could try maybe 14 harlequin rasboras and 14 rummy nose, i really love the look of rummynose tetras;)

hey guys, i just left on a day trip like 5 min ago, and sadly when i checked my tank this morning, i found one of the GBRs really weird, its stomach was caved in, and it looked like it was starving, so i haven't checked all the fish for 3-4 days. but i have been feeding daily with only 6 days a week, and lots of different food

hikari freeze dried blood worms
hikari freeze dried tubifex worms
hikari freeze dried brine shrimp
hikari freeze dried krill
hikari frozen brine shrimp
hikari frozen blood worms
tetra flake food
aqueon flake food
large algae wafers
mini algae discs
and veggies once a week

im stumped:(

i will move it into the quarantine and try to make him/her eat

i don't know its sex yet as its 1", and really tiny

You really need to scale back and learn how to handle a small tank with few fish. Sorry for your issues, but they are basically a result of you going against most all advice, rushing things and being impatient. You need to slow down...step back and rethink your position. You want to be a breeder. No way would I purchase from you if I had read your threads here. Not being mean or rude..just a fact from my perspective.

If you can't keep your sig current....how do you think you will manage a business? Book smart doesn't equate to understanding lefty-loosey, righty-tighty or which end of the screw driver to use.

Fishboss, if I were you I would start with the same tank, but less stocking. Maybe...

8 corydoras
12 harlequin rasboras
1 neon blue gourami
1 male blue betta (re-tank/home if possible)
4 yoyo loaches
1 upside down catfish (sell if possible)
1 clown pleco
1 long fin ABN pleco

Without the angels you can work on keeping the tank stable and then, later on when you have the tank stable and healthy for a decent amount of time (about a year or so) you can make the jump to breeding angelfish.

RB, I do believe that Fishboss has head this several times now and is working his best to undo the damage. Just because he really screwed up doesn't mean he can still have a moderately large tank with decent stocking. He just needs to take his time with it. I've screwed up as badly (if not worse) in my past, but I think I'm doing pretty well. Course, next up comes the part where I reference a parasite that I still need the meds for lol. You get the point.

A caved in stomach is usually a sign of illness, parasites maybe. I would try feeding him medicated food.

Are there any sort of red thread like things coming out its anus? If so it's a very infective parasitic worm, I have it in my tanks, still haven't managed to find the meds needed (going to buy them off the net instead).
