I'm downsizing and need to find a good home or home(s) for these two adorable DPs. Right now they are living in the same heavily planted tank peacefully which won't last much longer as they mature and will need to be separated. These guys have been my babies and I'm very sad to have to get rid of them but I just have way too much on my hands right now and they need tlc that they deserve. They eat live blackworms, frozen bloodworms and of course snails.

They are free for pick up only right now but if that doesn't work out I will consider shipping (you pay shipping, preferably the fastest method). I am located in Newman, CA about 40 minutes outside of Modesto. I can also include a 10g tank with hood for free as well (p/u only). Will post pictures soon

Let me know if pick-up doesn't work out, I've been dying to find DP's that aren't sickly (the one LFS that has them is terrible, lost every fish I've bought there)

How well tempered are they? Do you think they'll get along with pygmy cories or RCS?

I would say no on the rcs & the pygmy cories are iffy. The only other fish I've kept them with were otos and there was some fin nipping going on

I'll keep them by themselves then. Let me know if you can't find anyone local...

Bumpity bump bump

free bump to cute fish and me hoping they find a good home. if i were there i would gladly take them but alas I'm in north carolina:(

Good luck on finding a home for the fish they are too cute. Out of curiosity where in that area did you find them or did you order them online? I'm looking at getting one down the road and live in that area.

Thanks for the good luck wishes! I got them at Tropical Haven in Modesto, if you don't go there already you should now! That is where I buy all of my fish, amazing mom & pop shop with a huge selection of fish :)

I have been in there a few times and have purchased some shrimp from them for my current tank but don't remember seeing any puffers but then I wasnt looking for them specifically the times I've been in there. I'll have to check them out more closely next time. Thank you for the information. :) Wish I could take you up in the ones you have but know I wouldn't have the space to take two of them and not quite ready for the one I want.
