Mafia 95 - "Mayor's Mansion" (The Play)

Now that all the frantic voting post night fall is over, it is time to pull things together.

First off I think it was kind of slick the way Chill came in, found the post that MC said JP was innocent, then pulled the rule stating the boss was going to show as an innocent if investigated D1.

21 players this game. What are the odds of investigating scum let alone the Boss on night 1?

I have played with Chill on scum teams and as non communicating innocents.

Chill came in playing his normal game. Posting videos and fluff. Love it. Couldn't imagine a game without him. Then when asked direct questions he answers them and goes back to fluff. Tonight he went out of his way to post relevant posts. So much so that he had to go through a lot of posts to find it.

If memory serves correctly, the only time he does that is when scum.

Wiz... it seems to me as though you are looking at this game from a very simplistic place. You also said that when FF holds back he is scum. Look how well that turned out.

Dawg, You yourself stated you were trying to understand why MC voted DD right after nightfall. Tonight you yourself voted DD right after nightfall. You only retracted after JP questioned you on it reminding you MC only had one invest. Then in a parting shot, as Chill did, reminded everyone that the Boss will show innocent on a D1 invest.

You aren't exactly giving me a warm fuzzy feeling right now.

I stated that yes. That was also early when he was not showing up. If I recall correctly he managed to come in after I said that and was all over the place. Which is what resulted in his lynch.

It may be a simplistic view JB but think about it, it really is that simple. All we need to do is question, and watch. Do I think I have it all figured out? No, but I do think I have a few suspects that would not show innocent if lynched.

I'm also liking UN, but I'm still not AS sold. Mostly it's gut feeling and the fact that he seems to have stuck largely to grilling newbs. Until more recently (vote jumping, etc) he really hadn't created many waves while appearing active and trying to be helpful. More recently he seems to have started to lose it a little. Which I would expect from him if scum when people started to throw his name around.

The det just called me mafia right before I lynched him. Nailed it.....

Would've been nice to see some of his invests, one of them wasn't me apparently.

I don't know. I AM NOT MAFIA. Not that makes any difference, but still. It really sucks that I got the det lynched, but I would've made that same decision a thousand times. With play like that, there's nothing I can really say. (Especially calling me scum right before nightfall, and not disclosing any info about his invests)

Here you seem to be saying that you're voting him (the kill vote I believe) was largely OMGUS, and for not disclosing his invests. It seems to me that the people with the most to lose from not hearing about the invests is the mafia. You seem to have forgotten all about the reasons you gave before for the switching.

Anyone with votes on MC is suspect. I point to Pap, Zaf, AAF, DD (not on MC, but scummy) and a 5th member. (Wiz?)

This just takes the cake. You fail to acknowledge your own vote, and seem to plan to be away from the game for a while. Really?

I'm sorry guys, but make up your minds already. All you do is give me crap for UDing, and then when I start voting early just in case, everyone has a problem with it. Pap what made you get so vocal after nightfall?

Deflecting the attention and trying to look helpful.

I'd like to hear some thoughts of DD.

Also guys, I will be around tommorow and Wednesday. I've been trying to avoid UDing as much as possible. Also, where's JB?

DD's been talked about a lot. What more do you want to hear about her? Seems like more deflection. Now you've gone from defending your "hope I don't UD vote" to "I'll be around."

Screw going to bed, I'm staying up all night if that's what it takes. I'm very interested in what you have to add to the conversation DD.

Come on, Wiz. Nothing in this game is ever that simple. If you really believe that, you are either mafia or your emotions are making you short sighted. You know how you get...

I do think that MC's reaction to UN was frustration. At the same time UN's vote switching was suspicious enough to draw comment from more than one player.

He then turns around and votes DD right after nightfall. LG too was real quick to get us looking at DD after nightfall.

I am too tired to go find it right now but I think she said something about DD being really into the game and she only does that when scum. You really have been absent G, DD has not been what I would call really into the game. The last time I played when DD was scum, she was much more active than she has been in this game. If that is your measurement of DD's alignment the you should be leaning her town.

This sounds like a really good plan for the mafia, not for a townie. You're usually all about digging and bush kicking. When did it become just that simple? The more I look at this, the more uneasy it makes me.

Mad, you wrote a novel of a post about my posting D1. You then spent the majority of D2 asking me about it over and over again. I was not suprised to see where your vote fell. I do have a question for you though.

Did you keep asking me to see if I would trip myself up in my answer? Maybe forget exactly what I had said?

Or were you trying to keep it out there in front of the town because JP was questioning MC so much you thought I might get forgotten in the noise?
