Hey guys, I'm looking for a cheap camera that I can use for videos of my tanks. I don't need any special features, just something that is cheap but worth the investment. I'm thinking somewhere in the under 100 dollar range. Thanks guys!

how long you want to record for in a single shot?

I was looking into the Kodak Playsport ZX5 before I decided to sell my camera and buy a higher end point and shoot instead. It goes for $109 on Amazon. I hear some good things about the Flip UltraHD also but the Playsport has a better zoom/macro for shooting fish.

get a stand alone video camera vs a photo camera. i bought one for like $40 does a heck of a lot better vid then most cheap cameras.

i personally have a insignia ns-dv720pbl2 if you look around you can pick up ones for 50-100

I'll have to check it out. I plan on recording for 5-10 minutes tops.

UN: When I get to my moms house I see what my camera over there is. It's not the best for pictures, even the smallest wobble can blurr the pic, but videos is where it rocks. My new tank vids were taken with it. The camera can also be put under water (salt too) and dropped without damage (I've done that a few times)

Okay, mine is a FujiFilm XP FinePix. It can be mounted onto a tripod (I think) and takes very good videos. Have decent zoom feature too.
