Mafia 95 - "Mayor's Mansion" (The Play)

Our captive guests reached a bothersome impasse today. Having made many mistakes and given very little reliable information, some just disappeared from the group to different areas of the mansion.... while others would just sit and stare sullenly at each other.

There's even been talk of burning the place down. Of course, the Mayor couldn't care less what the hostages do to the estate or it's furnishings. She had all her properties and other holdings valued at ten times their worth. (Thanks to that gullible appraiser working her accounts!)

Late afternoon became much more interesting as various accusations and stumbles were observed. The voting became heated and resulted in a tie between Wizard and Lady G....

The surprising revelation from this lynch result created much confusion among the group. Most of the guests stayed together, fearful of being followed by killers and winding up dead in their room tomorrow morning.

Two people were missing from the group, however.... one had been gone all day, the other's absence wasn't discovered until early dawn with a Waterford crystal sailboat bashed through it's skull.

The other missing guest had found a way to sneak out of the mansion, going through an inconspicuous hallway off the east wing library which lead to the conservatory. From there, she loosened a panel of glass to make her escape.

What the escapee didn't expect was a pack of half-starved dobermans patrolling the grounds. All other guests were priviledged with a great view of the grisly scene through the window when the dogs gleefully surrounded and attacked the wayward intruder.

Good thing the fish didn't need feeding tonight. The dobermans dined quite well on her remains and slept peacefully through the night.

Bally betrayed her own family trying to save her miserable hide.
