Help me convince my friend his tank set ups are wrong!!!!!

He keeps over stocking his tanks and isn't listening to me. I figured maybe if i could get you guys to agree he might see things my way.....

Here is what he told me about his tanks....:

a 3 gallon tank with a external cartridge filter with a bubbler
there are 3 danios a tetra and a redtailed shark

2 goldfish in a 1 gallon tank with a bubbler

1 crowntail male beta in a 1/2 gallon cube

HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP HIM!!!!!!!!!

oh my gosh thats horrible, but out right telling him wrong and that its horrible will only make him deffensive.

Why don't you introduce him to www.AquariaCentral.com, and www.AquAdvisor.com and let him figure it out for himself? Letting him do his own reseach will allow him to come to the right conclusion on his own.

I have, he is "to lazy" to sign up apparently

politely tell him whats wrong, tell him theyre living in horrible conditions and they will die quickly. show him some beutiful picture of larger tanks, and convince him to get one. if all else fells, be a ninja, steal his fish, and get them good homes.

He thinks because they arnt dying that it means they are happy

It's still not ideal, but if you can get him to do daily water changes with the betta you'll know it's at least getting better treatment and space than it would at a petstore.

not sure about the ninja thing.......maybe 2moro? go trick or treating......knock him out...take the fish.....u can only get like 1 year for robbery of live fish.

i would make him an account or let him be......his problem or keep emailing him with threads about those fish? links about those fish? some pics of ADA tanks.!IDK good luck for those fish
