Not super weird, anytime you have a team that performs like the Bills did for many seasons then lose all your star players you have to go through a rebuilding period. The Bills sucked big time for long enough, they now have the talent and are doing well. A season or two more and their talent may learn to anticipate their team mates and then watch out they will dominate the field.

The Bengals doing well is certainly weird. They lost all of their "star" players and are now doing quite well (except these last 2 games). I think it's great they're doing well without any superstars, I was worried they might go 0-16 during preseason.
