1) I guess I'm not as aggressive as usual because I am not the one leading the post count even though I am up there. I've questioned quite a few people, unfortunately a few of them being innocent (2H, JB).
It's not so much a hell week but a hell month for me until finals. I hesitated to even continue being signed up but I'm doing the best I can.
2) I'm pretty sure I said Starr being killed is better than nothing. Scum is scum, although it would obviously be best to get rid of the scum who does the hits as that is the biggest threat to the town.
3) where did Mad offer to vote UN a "couple of times"? I only saw the once that I quoted but I may have missed others.
It's not about your number of posts, it's about the intensity of them. I remember LG or someone likened you to a chihuahua that had grabbed onto a pantleg (or something to that effect) and wouldn't let go. That's generally how you play, especially when you are innocent. I've not seen that intensity from you this game, rather you seem to not be ruffling many feathers.
I agree that it would have been better had Bateman or Harris been gone, but I still think the hit was useful. Prior to the hit, I was wanting to think Mad innocent since I found myself agreeing with him on JB.
As far as Mad saying he could see moving to UN, he mentioned it or something to that effect a couple of times. Never made a big deal out of it, but did mention it.
Wait, I am not understanding your first point that I bolded. You say that if both were scum, Mayor would have caught his mistake..... why would you think that? This of course is considering that the mayor is not crooked to begin with.... And then you say there is a decent chance that both Wiz and UN were/are scummy Patricks... what? We already know that Wiz was a regular Patrick and UN is still in the game.
your second point, this is the second time I have seen someone post that AAF is lowered on a list due to his lack of understanding the rules. What makes you think that AAF isn't playing the game to make you think that way? It's a heck of a way to run with it if you are constantly being honored the noob card.
Third point, do you know when FF was scum so I can look that game up for the comparison, because as I see it, FF is scum however, he is lower on the pole than AAF is at this time. There have already been 1 or 2 slips from AAF that I have begrudgingly let go because everyone is ok with considering his noob card.
with these pointed out, I just want to be clear that you have no thoughts on UN at all besides the first point I have bolded. You do say that you lowered UN on your list because he was up with Wiz and I am thinking your thoughts are that this is why there was a confusion or a mixup on who would die for the night... almost liek you completely dismiss him for it... I have a hard time discounting him for it.
I guess I have a hard time discounting anyone actually and find your post pretty bold in opinion. It worries me that anyone would find anyone more innocent than anyone else. It always has.
DD, I put my thoughts out there on everyone. There is not much to go on, I am having trouble tying anyone together or to Mad. Call it a bold opinion if you want, but with very little to go on I have to try to sort scum from innocents somehow.
I addressed your first misconception earlier. You totally skimmed when reading my point about why I thought Wiz and UN could both be normal Patricks.
With the second point, I'm not cutting AAF a break because he is playing as a clueless noob. As Rich pointed out, this game is complicated. I would expect anyone serious about this game to have read them several times. I would expect anyone with a role in which they have a special role to have read them several times. Therefore, I am willing to lean AAF as less likely to be scum since he did not read the rules (or at least didn't read them well enough to know that Star is an evil role). If he were scum, I'd think he'd know who his scummates were.
To your third point, it was a couple of games ago. He was evil and didn't turn the game into the FF dog and pony show. I remember he flipped scum when lynched.
I really don't have further thoughts on UN. The scum team are playing this one well as I don't have much to go on. I put my thoughts out there, bold or otherwise. That's the best I can do for the town. I haven't completely dismissed anyone.
I think there is amazing little going on here. Ratty nice analysis, I kind of disagree with a few parts of it. I do not see why 2H getting hit points to me.
It was just a thought Rich. It may have nothing to do with you. Maybe Mad investigated him on Night 1 and somehow communicated to Bateman that 2H was a townie PR and needed to be hit. I don't know, but you're not giving me warm fuzzies (no one is in this town).
Lab, a few of your other thoughts I take issue with...
I don't entirely agree with this...Mad is a crafty player. He really only mentioned voting UN once and made no indication that he was going to move. Would he risk losing Bateman? Maybe not, but it would also have been foolish to jump to Wiz just to save UN when he didn't have any reason. That would risk bringing both of them down.
I could easily see Mad drop UN's name in there just in case UN did flip scum on N1. I don't think Mad's post can make me lean UN one way or the other just yet.
Also, I don't think trying to get into the mind of the mod proves much other than Zaffy made a mistake.
One would expect that everyone would read the rules regardless of their role. Not sure I can agree with this either.
I think DD already asked but I too would like to know which game you are referring to. And unless he was somehow a non communicating scum role that game then I fail to see how this game compares.
The only time I personally remember FF being in control as scum was when he played with JB. Scum haven't been able to communicate since before D1. There isn't anyone who can do that anymore. My honest opinion is that FF is still very capable of making mistakes.
Of course Mad is a crafty player, I was drinking the Kool-Aid he was selling on the first two days. I don't think he would have jumped and exposed himself, I never said he would. I do not think he would have casually thrown UNs name around though, if they were scummates. There is no need for distancing in this format since there are no connections to be drawn (or if there are I'm missing them).
I try to stay out of Zaffy's mind, it's warped in there. But I could see how that mistake could easily happen, especially if both players had the same role. It's not much, but it's a thought. I'm not clearing UN or anything, just saying it pushes him below other players as to who I think is scum.
As far as FF goes, as I mentioned earlier in this post in response to DD, it was a couple of games ago. I remember thinking FF was playing well, then he ended up flipping scum. He plays better when scum. I totally agree FF is capable of making mistakes, in fact I'm not finding his postings particularly scummy but I think he's made enough mistakes to get himself on the lynching block.
