As some of you know I have a cousin who is battling multiple myeloma, a hematological cancer. While chemotherapy and now a stem cell transplant (soon) are working we are looking into exploring more holistic ways of dealing with this. I have recently discovered a product known as "phoenix tears" and everything I am reading is claiming it is a "miracle cure" for all types of cancers. I am not a believer of everything I read however and am wondering if anyone has had personal experience with the product.

don't know anything about it petluvr but if I were JK Rowlings I would set my attorneys on this outfit asap. "Phoenix tears" are a major plot element in the Harry Potter books were they are described, in fact, as having "magical" healing powers. These books, of course, are fiction and my strong suspicion is that this stuff is too. Just another quack product produced by moral vultures to prey on the desperation of very sick people.

By all means google and ask the doctors and otherwise research itfor yourself, but just based on the nature of the name I would be very, very suspicious. Sounds like this year's "shark cartilage." :(

best wishes for your cousin, sounds like there are some very good people working on the case already. :)

sad to hear! good luck with your cousins cancer! one bit of advise, my mom had cancer and i wish she would have never went into chemo or radition. if you want to know what i read on what cures cancers and a bunch of storys of adults and even kids being cured. PM me. i wish you and your family the best!

You can pretty much count on it that everything that claims to be a "miracle cure" is a scam, shill, snake oil etc... Cancer is such a complex disease and there are so many types that anything claiming to cure all of them is simply lying. There's no other way around it.

"Phoenix Tears" is simply a brand name. The product is actually cannabis oil, which is known medically to have an effect on cancerous onco genes. By no means do I feel as though this cancer is curable, considering it's death rate is 100% but I would like to be able to help to extend her life beyond the 29 months that is usual with stage 3.

Petluvr...look into finding a holistic practitioner in your area that provides not only herbal treatments but accupuncture as well. It may not "cure", but I am a strong believer in using a combo of eastern and western medicine. Accupuncture and herbal remedies have been around for centuries for a reason.
I have my own personal experiences with accupuncture...it is worth a try even if it only improves the current quality of life. It has remarkable abilities with pain, nausea, etc.

Acupuncture is actually something we have explored, unfortunately the closest acupuncturist is about 2 hours away and she is unable to ride in a vehicle for that long.

have u tried cancer centers of america? i think is there name they advertise on tele,. they go about treating cancer all the way around thru diet and meditation and holistic approches,.. i'd give it a whirl, there are a few center around one in philly and another out west,. not sure where the rest are,..

AAAhhh...my Dad has the same problem as he needs pain control. Still a holistic practitioner can also perform accupressure which can also be beneficial as well as diet modifications and herbal remedies.

I wouldn't expect hash oil to cure cancer but it could certainly help with some of the symptoms.
