was going to go up and see her today, but i cant.. i cant stand seeing someone just laying there in a vegetated state... my mom before she died, was in a coma for a few days then past away.... if she was awake i would go and see her ( doc told my aunt bf and my grandad, in 1 to 3 days, she will wake ) right now, i will just sit and wait for the calls to be updated.. and thanks all for the understanding!

We are all pulling for her Doug, please do not feel as though you have to explain your actions to anyone. We all deal with these hard situations in our own way, if you feel as though you need someone to just scream at, cuss at or simply listen to you cry please feel free to contact me via pm here or on FB....I know how hard it is to see someone you care about be so gravely ill.

well i was at a friends yesterday, felt tears about to drop from my eyes, and felt really sad, just told my friend i have to go ( i hate crying, infact i dont even cry, i just get tears, its rare for me to cry ) but i hate looking sad infront of my friends or family, so i either exscue myself or just walk away tell i feel better. and thanks petlvr, and PM who you are again on FB please.

Doug, my brother in law had two aneurysms in his brain at one time (NEVER stifle a sneeze!). He was in a coma for a few weeks, but they did brain surgery on him. That was 3 years ago and he is up about and pretty much fine today. He is a bit goofy at times, and will sometimes repeat himself, but he is basically his same old self.

I am very sorry to hear about your aunt! It is hard to see a member of your family like this, but it's best to remember them when they were at their best. Just hang in their, and you have some really nice people here to support you!

My thoughts are with you and your family Doug.

I know exactly how you feel about not feeling comfortable visiting/seeing relatives in the hospital who are non-responsive, but I can promise you that in the long run, you'll be happier if you do. I look at it like this. Your aunt can still hear, even if she can't talk back. Knowing that her family is there supporting her could be just what she needs to help her to pull through and wake up. Alternatively, if she does end up passing on (god forbid), she will be happier on her way out if she knows she is surrounded by her loved ones, and you'll be happier knowing that you got to see her again.

I feel sorry for your aunt, but would using correct spelling and grammar kill you?

The disgust I feel for you right now is unbearable fshfanatic. If I ran this forum, after making a comment like that in a thread like this, you wouldn't be coming back. I've got plenty more to say, but this is not the place.

true true... i was just told she was put in a medicated coma... so got two stories, one her body put her into a coma, another a doc put her into a coma... i will find out the final truth tonight... and more updates on her tonight.
