Tanked! is driving me nuts!

I thought last night had too much bs filler in it. By the time they got to the actual install, I was bored and really not paying attention. I did see them putting in the white and black tips though. They were awesome!

I want to see what their tanks look like months later...

Nerdyrcdriver went to the nail polish tank and it wasn't in good condition

(could someone try to find that thread?)

What is with this season being all about talking about stuff they did last season? That is driving me crazy.

With their buisness they cannot be building tanks every week, so they are only showing the builds that are worth showing.

They don't maintain the tanks. Maybe the ones close to them. I went to the nail polish tank in florida. It wasn't in great shape.

Was it still overstocked?

It wasn't too bad. The filter seemed to keep up well. But there was a bunch of algae. I had to look to see the led colored lights. They were coated in algae.

With their business I GUARANTEE that they are building tanks every week. But of course they only show the builds worth showing, since the other ones aren't worth showing!

^ Yep.

They basically have a tank factory in the back of the place. And a nice sized one at that. That type of thing needs to run on a regular basis to be worth having.

There is another variable on top of the "worth showing" one. They need a combination. A build worth showing AND a client willing to show it. I'm sure they work out a deal with the client, but at that scale knocking X% off the tank doesn't work nearly as much. If the people don't want to show off what they just ordered then the show isn't going to get enough film to make it worth putting on the show.

Sorry, what I meant was they are not putting out tanks like that every week. I am sure they are constantly building tanks.

I think the odd shaped 50gal tanks will not be on the show.
