This kind of bothers me.
Night fall is at 7PM eastern. Which would be 4PM pacific. I don't know what it is anywhere else in the country and don't know where FF lives. But to vote so early "to avoid UD and by choice" since it is day 1 smells scummy.

Day 1 being a crap shoot is, in my opinion, a cop out and a cheap way to cover up a vote. Yes, we have a history of lynching innocents on D1, but, if I remember correctly we have managed to nail scum as well. Although not very often.

I would be more comfortable with a vote cast early in the morning the day of night fall to avoid UD than I am with one cast early morning the first day of the game. Even before there has been a chance of game related posting to occur.

One more thing that bothers me about this vote is that his "crap shoot" vote fell to some one who in the past has demonstrated competent ability to root out scum. Something the town can ill afford if he is innocent.

And Kash's followup, although she never addressed it directly...

Not gonna quote the whole thing, but I fully agree with Wizard.

Only reason for a safety vote a day in advance is if you don't expect to get back in time... Or I guess if you intend on laying low.

Not going to vote based on this right now because FF is well advised to minimize posting either way. But I will say it wasn't a good answer to the question.

A early vote to not UD seems acceptable to me, but that is clearly not what it has turned out to be. The 9 hour work day also seemed like a weak excuse at the time. As it turned out you have had plenty of time to read and post, well at least post.
In post 50 you say your not worrying, or moving your vote. (Didn't quote the post because it was already screwed up)

Just saying it seems to me you have had plenty of game time to do both.

Pulled this basically to post I'm in agreement with 2H -- although I will stop short of voting myself.

And that came before FF's massive game synopsis post! Holy cow, FF.... if that's your level of posting volume when you don't expect to have time at, Lord help us if you sometime intend to post a lot. :headshake2:

Um... what? What possible vote? I don't get this question at all. Without going back again for more quotes.... yes, I think I got a crap answer. What he explained didn't match the so-called reason he gave. Does that make him scummy? Maybe... maybe not. Who the hell knows with FF?

Casting a vote to not UD is one thing, but to do it when you were a day prior to nightfall is a little strange coupled with the fact that you came back to defend your vote. Was it your intention to cast your vote and disappear and just lie low but then were worried when people started looking at you so you came back?

But, on the other hand there is also this post.



He states that he doesn't know how much he will be on, which could do one of two things. Give him the cover he needs to hide if no one pays attention to him, but also gives him the foundation to play the "I stayed up all night and just couldn't sleep" card if people did begin questioning him too much.















How many times do you have to remind us that regardless of how busy you were you just weren’t tired?

I find this interesting because you state that you will not be busy for day 2 and then state that tomorrow you will be busy. The quote that states tomorrow was made today, 4/6/2014, and since nightfall is today day 2 will be tomorrow. So FF will you be busy or not?




I found this response to be a bit odd, Kash seemed to just accept FFs answer with no second thought. It is D1 so there isn't much to go on until questions are posed..but

She didn't have a response one way or another until Wiz posted that he didn't like it, also she didn't quote his disagreement with FF. Her last sentence stating that it wasn't a good answer seems to have kicked off the FF frenzy. Was she intending to kick off this flurry of FF posts and then if it didn’t work out for her she would go back and say that the Wiz had started the descent in the hopes that since she did not quote him it would be missed?


I had a question about the first statement in red but it was answered later by the second.

Actually, I'm glad you asked this because I think it explains what 2H was getting at. You say I didn't have a response one way or other until Wizard posted too. That isn't true, I thanked FF for answering my question.... (that really is a response).

All I intended with my questions to FF at the time was to get his answers established in the thread.... if he was around at all to even respond. If his reasoning later changed, it would be something we could compare against his Day 1 explanation. He answered, I thanked him, and left it at that. I kinda figured we'd be having other topics to consider than this.

Just because I didn't choose that moment to voice an opinion does not mean I did not have one.

After that, I read Wizard's assessment and whole-heartedly agreed. I saw no reason to keep that to myself, so I posted what I thought of FF's response.

Did I think the whole thing was vote-worthy? No. Not all by itself and certainly not to the exclusion of everything else we could be talking about instead.

At least 3.5 million times should do it I think. When you quote all my posts like that I really DID post way too much about it but people kept asking the same darn question and I only have 1 answer to it...

I should be less busy for Day 2. When I Made that post (at 2:15am no less) I was referring to the 6th (today) which is again turning out to be less busy than I thought it would be, which again worries me because I'm probably forgetting something important.
Also, Bally, interesting take on Kashta's posts. Not sure if I agree, though I will say it struck me as interesting that she changed her stance so quickly but I'd forgotten because of the mess between Pappy and I.

Kash I know I haven't given you time to answer my question, but I went through the players list again and I don't see the many players you speak of.



That and agreeing with Wizzard that Zaffy is to important to cast a day one vote on, combined with the FF threat vote. Not liking any of it.

Many players... that's my reference to people following votes and not digging, and such. I wasn't talking about just THIS game. FF has played a ton of games and many players do those things.

Well, I really want to see more from DD, she hasn't posted anything of substance and Im going to hurt myself deciding if FF is being himself or scummy himself. I don't like Bally's question of what constitutes a joke, but at least it generated some talk. I guess for tonight I'm going to vote to lynch DD. I haven't seen enough to make a good judgement on anyone, and her absence seems the scummiest given how quiet nightfall has been.

I'll try and check in from my phone, but I can't make any promises. PRobobly can't post until later tonight sorry guys

Okay, I am fighting with a slower than molasses, non responding net book so before night fall hits and I haven't got a vote in,

I vote to lynch DD.

She has made two posts and neither one contributed to the seeking of scum. I also want a vote in so I don't UD because of the netbook handicap.

I will keep looking to see if anything makes me want to change my vote.

UN stated he thought the scum liked where it was going. Said he didn't like how quiet it was so close to nightfall. UN has made a couple of comments here and there but hasn't kicked any bushes. Wants to see what others think but doesn't ask any questions.

The biggest thing is he thinks that the scum must like how it is going then votes for one of the only two people with votes on them.

Really? If you think the scum like how it is going you are going to vote their way?

Does this in anyway clear DD in your mind?

Well, DD is now in the lead without any indication that she's going to even show up and vote.
