any idea as to what these white dots are? They don't appear to move and one is on our big yellow snail and several on the glass and rocks. We dont have any real plants, no new fish in the last few months and 25% water change weekly. Could these be snail eggs? We did have one of our snails lay eggs although not sure which one but they were clusters. These are individual. image.jpgimage.jpg

Those are nerite eggs. They won't hatch, nerites require brackish conditions to reproduce, but they will lay eggs anyway.

Agree with OrionGirl 100%. Were the other cluster eggs above the water line or underwater? If they were above then it was your mystery/apple snail.

Thanks guys! The cluster of eggs were above the water line. Which one is the mystery/apple snail, the yellow one or the brownish one with dark markings?
