I got this JD from someone who had it in a tiny tank. It’s now in 200gallon tank and has already grown a lot. I want to know if it’s male or female because I’d like to get another to breed with. TIA!

Your first 2 pics said female to me BUT your last 1 says male. What size is your JD? I'm judging by the length of the dorsal (top) fin & the anal fin (bottom) in relationship to it's tail...In big almost fully grown males both those fins will be almost as long as the tail. Females less than, say half-ish or a bit...so I'm guessing female seeing the tail extentions in the 3rd pic...but females don't often have those tail extensions...Sorry, I'm on the fence
Jd is getting close to 6 inches. I was thinking male because of the markings on the gills.
I was thinking male too because of his coloration and the spits on his gills and the face they don’t go down around his mouth
