Giant bettas are betta splendens. They grow to 3.5-4”. Giants eat more then normal bettas and basically are more calmer than the standard betta.

Right. I knew they were Betta splendens. I've never seen one and didn't realize they got that large. That's impressive. Thank you.

They are. I’m glad I’m moved him to the 10 gallon, he’s all over the place. Plus the new filter replacement arrives tomorrow!

At one time they grew to 6-7” now with selective breeder they don’t grow more then 4”.

Tank cleared up, once the filter is on the tank it’ll clear up more.

Another pretty tank & betta, Vincenia! What is the name of your big rock?

I think it’s dragon stone, don’t really remember. The tank shows off the size of a giant betta surprisingly well. He has some Colombian giant ramshorn snails in the tank plus two South American bumblebee catfish(they get 2-3”).

Impressive set up Vinc! I cant wait to set up mine, still removing huge chunks outta my soil. It is a long process
