Im new. Im 23 and live in Orlando, and no i dont goto disney world. Recently aquired a 55 gallon tank for christmas. Going with freshwater on it, not sure aobut fish choice yet and i also plan on having a fair amount of living plants. I already posted a thread in the newbie forum to hlep answer some of my many questions. This new hobby of mine will be added to my already growing list of things to do in my free time. Any help is appreciated. :)

just kidding i think red phantom tetras are a nice addition get about ten
some cory cats stay small and eat the food that falls in the bottom but GET FINE GRAVEL FOR THEM THE FINNEST YOU CAN FIND OR SAND. what kind of fish have you seen that you want
 
well it already has black gravel, but most of the fish ive seen that i would want will outgrow my tank to fast lol. something that will grow decent size but not out grow my tank, some color i like the blood parrot tetras, angels. No oscars or black ghosts since the tank wont be big enough.

Already been there a few times, first place i made a topic. :-)

anyways thought i would update with some pictures. no fish yet sorry. sorry but pics aren't the greatest my canon broke and now using a cheapo Kodak.
