is that how you spell it? LOL

well, can ANY discus go in a 20g?

LOL..simply put this is correct..no
however, you can raise juvenile discus in that tank for a short time.

but ,and this is a big but, you will need to move them to a tank that will support discus 10 -15 gallons per fish
the fish will need daily water changes and be fed 3-4 times per day. the small tank won't work for more than a few weeks.

I wouldn't do it. Discus are schooling fish and they can grow to the size of a small dinner plate. They also need to be in groups of no less then four or five. The bare minimum tank size for discus is 45-50 gallons with bigger than that always a better option.

discus are usually kept by experienced fish keepers.

while they are not that difficult to keep..they do best with pristine water.

yes you should have a much larger tank minimum is as marine mom stated 50-60 gallons and bigger is better.

I will re-iterate..discus are affordable when they are young and you get them from a breeder. adult discus are expensive. young discus require a lot of maintenance.

while I don't want to discourage you..be aware you will be doing a lot of tank maintenance with young discus.
