The original "Rose" was my great-grandmother, a Cherokee, who raised my mom. I named my Tennessee Walking Horse filly after her, and have several versions of Rose, one being "Rosita." It's nice to have a pseudonym.
I've always found it strange, that if you told someone you were going to visit someone they knew, they'd often say,"tell them i said Hi!"
So, with my increadibly warped mind, i started say, "tell them i said Guzzizzit", which means nothing at all. After a while it just stuck as a nickname.
Rallysman I'm afraid we have the same humour, I loved that.
Well I moved over to Wisconsin USA from Queensland Australia 3 years ago. I'm also kind of a hippie (my nickname is Australia). Apparently there is also an aussie_hippie allready so I wasn't paying much attention so I put "2" instead of 22.
I'm a big fan of ancient mythology. An old mentor gave me the nickname..for various reasons it stuck...I liked it better than my old FCC nickname FishR, although Barbie still calls me that...
Phaedra was a greek princess
Eos is the greek goddess of the dawn
I combined them together and tada! I've had this name for ages. Turns out though that a little bit after I made it, I found out that Phaedra, the 2nd wife of Theseus, fell in love with Theseus' son from his first marriage. He wasn't having anything to do with his step-mother however, so in retaliation Phaedra claimed the son raped her, and then killed herself. So then Theseus kills the son, thinking Phaedra was telling the truth, and only finds out afterwards that it was all a lie, and then lives in misery the rest of his life.
But ANYWAY I think the name is pretty so I'm stickin' to it.
Oh, and the 'gimp master' under my name is because of my gimpy cat, Jan (it's a genetic mutation that he was born with, related to polydactyly or extra toes):
