If I was to set up a new tank, are you able to put cichlids in with community tropicals like rasboras and tetras? If so, what species of cichilds?
in your 28 gallon, you could have bolivian rams.
what size of tank are we talking about?
opaline gouramis are one of the most aggressive gouramis out there. they kill anything in the tank that is smaller than they are. the only gouamis that angels can be with are pearls, dwarf gouramis, and honey gouramis.Rams and Apistos are your best bets in a community tank. Angels can work also, but you can't have anything too small.
I just added an Angelfish to my community tank and my Gourami is kicking his *** although they are supposedly compatible
Most of the time.... I would think if there is one thing all aquarists agree on here is there are no rules written in stone, just because an internet source says they can't be, or it didn't work in your particular circumstance doesen't mean its not possible. You won't know until you try.opaline gouramis are one of the most aggressive gouramis out there. they kill anything in the tank that is smaller than they are. the only gouamis that angels can be with are pearls, dwarf gouramis, and honey gouramis.
