Brown Algae, Help!!!

I noticed on my fake plants and decorations i have a brown algae growing. I take out the plants, clean them and 2 days later its back. How can i get rid of it and is it harmful to the fish? I have a 55 gallon freshwater tank which has been set up for about 1 1/2 months. Any ideas?

I had it for a while my self , it took a few months to get rid of. it does go away as your tank gets older just keep cleaning, and one day you will notice the algea stopped acumulting on your plants. I looked for many answers, all I got was yeah, it happens :huh: so I kept the water changes, the cleaning of everything and after a few months it finally ceased to apear after the last tank cleaning.
Now all i have to do is water changes. oh happy day!!
