How do you cook steak?

I really don't like meat much at all, steak tastes like shoes to me.

Make a habit of eating shoes?

:):):):):)

Cook for 4 minutes over hot coals on each side. Flip it once

why bother to waste the coals be a heman or hewoman and eat it raw, whats the diff?

cooking makes it safe if you don't want it safe then eat it like you like raw..
me i like it more than med..but not too done..
my grandfather used to eat steak tartar, in other words raw hamburger.. made me sick to watch.. but i was only 8..

omg Rally, I'm salivating! Perfectly done, med rare!! LOVE IT!

Cooking is supposed to make things taste good. That's why I cook anyway:D

If you're in the area I'll cook one for you. Trust me it's amazing:D We have a market here that cuts it fresh.

I can get to "the area"!!! lol!!

If my guests are too squeemish for the usual "shave it, serve it" approach, I will do them "au bleu" - that's when you get the grill hot enough to shape horse shoes and toss your seasoned steaks on for 20-30 seconds per side, let sit on a warm plate, covered for a couple of minutes to take a little of the chill from the center, serve.

Seasoning: Garlic powder, onion salt, pepper - maybe a little salt after cooking. If it's a shoe-leather grade of steak, I'll marinade for a while in a little italian dressing w / extra garlic powder added or I'll use the white wine garlic pepper stuff from the Melting Pot restaurants (it's good stuff) - or I'll brush a little of the stuff from Andria's steak house on 20min before cooking.

I don't allow A-1 or similar products in my house.
