tank crash!

thank you soo much everyone...but i have some bad news...i had a simi tank crash yesterday....my kenya tree coral, trumpet coral, re open brain, and some xenia looked really bad when i got home form school. my feather star also dropped more than half its legs...so naturally i took a large sample and set it aside and did a water change. everything looks better today but i lost some xenia and the feather start may not recover as well as the brain....so here are the test results

SG=1.025
salinity=35ppt
ammonia=0
nitrate=5
nitrite=0
ph=8.21(as always)
alk=3.39
calcium=448.08ppm
phosphate=.03(as usual)
strontium=12 mg/L
iodine= 0.06ppm
magnesium=1,319 mg/L
iron=[FONT=Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif][SIZE=-1]0.000006 ppm
Silica=< 2ppm
sooo pretty much all check out as usual...so any ideas...no missing fish, no missing organisms...everything else is ok no stress seen on the fish at all
no new things added. all things running as usual..no electric current in water. star polyps have withdrawn but only one colony and not the other two. things looke better today but i just cant figure it out...my hands were cleaned before adding the algae to the clips as i always do. didnt shave so it wasnt aftershave...and no really toxic animals.

sooo any ideas guys?

thx but any idea on the problem...lol
and i have put well over $4000 and it would actually be at least twice that if i hadn't worked at an aquarium store.
 
I have no clue babe, but good luck with that :D see i'm supportive.....uesless....but supportive :p
 
i would guess possibly a temp spike? perhaps someone left the thermastat on or if got hot down there? I have found that a lot of softies, expecialy anthillia and xenia dont do well to temp spikes....
