I still haven't been able to ID my coral. It has done well under my new lighting though. The polyps now close when its dark and open when the lights are on. I was able to finally see them retract too. One of my hermits accidently hit the coral and all the tiny polyps closed in a domino-like fashion.

Its the coral on the right.

Is it flat on the rock or is there a stem underneath? It looks like it might be some sort of leather. Possibly a toadstool, but thats if it has a stem, if it is flat on the rock idk.

Its flat on the rock. It appears the polpys are on some type of thin soft foam covering. The polpys look like tiny long star polyps and they each have a very tiny bright green eye.

ive seen those before (if it is the ones im thinking about) I think they also come in diffrent colors like yellow and the like, I thought they where regular polyps. Pretty nice though.
