I don't drive that much to need it.

also one thing i hate about XM i am sure its the same with sirius. i wouldnt mind paying 13 bux a month for all my cars but just one of them its a little crazy. i signed up for a year of xm for $77. anything over that wasnt worth it for me. anyone can get xm for $77 just tell them your not going to sign up unless they give it to you for that price. they tried to charge me 15 connection fee i told them never mind i dont want it and they waived it also.

The car I'm planning on getting comes with a 3-month trial of XM (no modding, it's factory installed). So of course I'm going to be using it for those 3 months but just didn't know if Sirius was better or not. $77 for the year? That's decent as that's less than $7/mo. where as I used to pay about $10/mo. three years ago. How did you get it for $77- is that a number they provide?

Does anyone know how much the Sirius is for a year?

they both are what $13 a month. my car came with 3 months free also. the $77 is a promo rate they give you to try to get you back. i just said my friend got it for $77 a year. i would sign up again if they gave it to me for that price. i had to tell them 3 or 4 times thats ok if you wont do it i just wont sign up. as with anything if your having a problem with one person call up and getter someone different.

I use sirius, because I am a long time listener of Howard Stern.

I don't know how I survived my whole life w/o Sirius satellite radio. I love the darn thing and cannot stand listening to terrestrial radio. I bought it b/c I am a huge Stern fan but have found that there is so much else to listen to on the radio. I love Alternative Nation and Hair Nation.

I have listened to XM in the past, but for some reason the programming did not appeal to me. Yes, I do believe that the DJ's talk less on XM than Sirius, but it seems impersonal to me. Plus on the 80's station you get old time MTV Vee-Jays like Alan Hunter as DJ's.
