I think there si sjust something blue behind it... if you look to the sides it's clear/greenish. Probably plate glass

I don't think you can do a glass tank 36" tall unless it has front bracing and/or 3/4" glass. A tank that size made out of glass would weigh well over 1200 lbs. My 225 made out of grade 3 glass weighed about 450 lbs. and it was 72" x 24" x 30".

Off topic but just had to comment... yeah those tanks are extremely heavy!
my 84x24x24 sat on the floor for over a week till i could finally get some help lifting up a few feet onto the stand... its glass too.

I love craigslist. I just bought a band new never been used 55 gallon complete setup. She included everything lights, filters, heaters, stand, etc. for $50. This is the way to shop.
