Mafia Game 3

If J2R is Mafia, then I guess I'm just not a very good judge of character. He's not as wishy washy as some others. And one thing I was shocked about was that NeonJ boldly stated that RB was Mafia, but yet he got taken out during the night by the Mafia.

I was wrong about him, he was so abrasive and non-committal, but made comments without really spelling any names out in particular. He seemed perfect for mafia, so he did a really great job. Not sure why he fell by the wayside. At the time though, I did really think he was mafia. But not enough to vote for him. But like anybody, especially on day one, it wasn't the case.

I was making him out for detective or mayor. He had that J2R season 2 aura about him. Well thank goodness the good guys are still out there.

It would certainly explain why he tried to distance himself from everyone so abrasively. But it would have had to come out in the drive-by, that he was the detective, etc. And all that was said was that he was an innocent.

I'm off to bed. I'm not going to dream about this "experiment" tonight. *lol* Explains why I'm so tired.

that's pretty funny...I was in the same boat with you and her, thinking that one of you (but not the other) may be mafia.... can't figure out how the heck you're getting she or I though.

I'm of the opinion that her asking you for your opinion (after voting to lynch you) and then the following discussion was a mafia argument to distance yourselves from each other. You didn't reciprocate and that is important for later...

with she and I, though, she tried to lynch me and then starts asking me who to vote for? if you go back and re-read, you'll see that I put the keebosh on that right away, though. I acknowledged what was happening while it was happening, so please realize that you haven't 'uncovered' anything.

I did initiate the 'alliance'. For reasons already stated. You might not have uncovered anything, but I believe that I have.

the really strange 'alliance' though is with NeonJ and Ice...doesn't make sense if they were both mafia to jump to each other's defense as often as they have.

If I had to pick one of the 4 of us (Ogre, Madcrawdad, Ice, Neon Julie), I would have to go w/ NeonJ at this point. as I said before, she could be forging these 'perceived alliances' so if she gets lynched, then those she interacted with would be next to fall, leaving her bad buddies safe.....now that she's hinting that she might be the detective (or other power role) smells desperate. why reveal this, as it would likely make her role impossible to fulfill for the rest of the game since the mafia will be gunning for her?...

I think I agree with you MadCrawdad as much as it pains me. An hour ago, I was planning on voting for you. I had my reasons listed, then... in the process of this reply, I reread a few posts.

But to be honest, something about MacCrawdad is really not jiving with me right now. I feel like his responses are cynical and cutting, rather downer posts as opposed to trying to rally the townies. It's not that I'm sure, but he seems to jump every which way on people, and tends to throw their responses back in their faces and not necessarily in a constructive way. It could be a defense mechanism from paranoia, or guilt... and speaking of paranoia, RBishop does seem a bit concerning.

But I want to see how the crowd falls with this one. I think IceH20 maybe getting punished for the wrong reasons, so I want to see what happens if

I vote to lynch MadCrawdad.

The comment about the not constructive way seems be totally off from the way I've read your comments. I think that most of your comments have been very logical and thought out. I think you have a reason for doing as you are.

I see the IceH2O connection and I'll admit that I started that mess... purely as a way to start things going. I had no real intention of keeping that vote, but I also new that we probably wouldn't get anything going if I didn't start something like that.

However, this is the comment that really struck a cord... after the above comment by Julie.

I liked Ice2HO's list much more than OrgeMkV's. Both have valid points.

So before I am called a bandwagon jumper I am going to cast a vote. My guess is that it will be unpopular and could get me killed.

I think this person is responible for rbishop's death and is the leader of the mafia. If this person survives the night and I die, then please lynch him.

Having re-read I don't think JRR is mafia at all; no complicated explanations and no attempt to make sophisticated arguments...just a straightforward approach to the game....which is the exact opposite of Ogre

My vote is with NeonJulie but now I'm deciding between Ogre and NJ...what do you say about Ogre NJ ?

Jessicar613 - no real read yet....but she definitely wants NeonJ gone.

I dont have much of a feel for anyone. My first hunch was NeonJulie, and I'm still leaning towards her for Mafia, and if I'm right, I think I'll finally be able to follow some leads. I'm equally suspicious of Ice but Julie's in the lead for a lynching and I don't want to waste my vote. Seeing either of them unveiled would be fine w/ me.

Just wanted to clarify that.

I have a few suspicions about who is mafia, I still thin Mac is trying to steer the populas, and I dont think its for the good of the town. Neon just looks like she's out to get a few people with no real evidence. I may seem Skittish, but who wouldn't be with mafia mixed among us. Its the people that seem to know a lot that scare me.
