Mafia Game #4 The Play

As I said, I think I have a decent case against someone. It's not rock solid, but it's the best I've got so far.

I mentioned two names at the beginning to say, these are good players and need to be checked. That's true, but I also wanted to see if anyone would jump on them with little or no reason... which someone did.

I personally think it's the kind of thing a newbie mafia member might try. "hmmm... good player, let's see if we can get rid of them without having to work at it." I also notice that this player has posted little or nothing since the vote.

With that in mind, I vote to lynch judgemax.

As far as my other suspicions are going... I count the following as needing further watching:
bkw1982
Cory Lover
Dangerdoll
johnlarson
madcrawdad
nolapete

These are just based on minimal information... consistency with past postings, interactions with others, etc. IceH2O might be on that list, but he's been very consistent with prior games. As has Fishlady22. I've already stated my beliefs that ZSandmann is probably an innocent as well.

I agree with most of the names on the list. Madcrawdad is REALLY off this game...but its still the first day. I dont know about Nolapete. Why would a mafia throw himself into a brawl in the first day?

Just saying I think he needs watching.

Besides, any mafia members on that list might try to be extra careful, meaning they can't do what they want to without three or four of us noticing.

Mafia not on that list might be emboldened and make a silly mistake that we can jump on.

Ok since ogre is brave enogh to post his i will too. i dont have a list but i do have a target. i vote to lynch ZSandmann

Mainly because he insinuates instead of accusing. He dosen't come out and say i think so and so is mafia because.....i think he tryin to get a snowball started.

Next is that he tries to convince guppyguppyfish to vote before she leaves for her camping trip. rushing votes is dangerous and voting just so u can get a vote in is recklass.


Next is the post about the note being left on the door. tryin to look innocent without saying it.

finally is his band wagon jumping on the CL vote.

This is my vote and why i believe why i voted...take it for what it is...an educated guess

Ok I think I'm caught up and have a few random thoughts for the fellow townsfolk to throw around and hopefully help me with... Remember to use small words for the Newb!

Doesn't that just smell of Mafia protecting mafia?

If Zman is mafia he would know they are mafia and trying a weak attempt at pushing any suspicion away from them.

Seemed early in the game to point out possible alliances...

Sounds like the double g is defending her "innocent" status a bit too much. I'd say she's not likely to be mafia. Leave her alone.

Everyone knows what happens with little girls who put their little noses where they don't belong.

And then a threat? Nola kinda scares me...

I may be going out on a limb, but I have to say that I think pete is acting strange...I also think, that since the banter between him and julie, is nonsense, and seems, a lil early for the two of them to be squabbling so...maybe its a script?..if we call one one it, the other would then be "clear"..are they actually offering their sacrificial lamb so early?...

(I also want to say, that since every one felt so guilty about lynching julie in the last game, it would make perfect sense to give her a mafia role this game...)

Agree with the first part, but I thought the townsfolk assignments were random. I may just be confused here.

I don't wanna throw stones here but i'm suspicious of some of the posts i've read (and then re-read). Anyone that declares themselves innocent, in my reasoning, is either:

A: innocent, or
B: guilty
Watching who's watching the thread to determine who is mafia appears to be about as effective as reasoning that the last players to join are automatically innocent (which in this case i think they are!!!) I for one am going to keep a close eye on Dangerdoll (for no other reason then her avatar looks hot) for any further suspicious posts. Any screw ups Danger, and i'll be quick to get my rope!!!

Ice has typically been an aggressive player. This is a mark neither for or against, just that he's being consistent.

I feel that if you don't start making votes that the person under suspicion can just lay low and hope someone else slips up and starts taking votes.

I put my votes out there so that the person in question can try to defend themselves or to see how many people jump on the bandwagon. Not only can you see a pattern but you also keep the pressure on the guilty.

Why wait to the last minute to vote? Doing that doesn't give people time to debate and switch. Not saying that any early vote can't be changed but its better to throw one out and work from there then to last second a charge to oust someone.

My vote for Cory Lover is solely based on his innocent cover. It just looks to much like a cover to me. I don't know why anyone wants to come right out and say they are innocents. I would think the mafia would want to remove those people 1st. Get rid of those us innocents think are innocent so its harder to figure out who is guilty.

Just bad gameplay IMO.

I kinda like this train of thought, though I'm not sure what to make of it.... yet.

I don't believe Nolapete is mafia. Completely don't believe it. Why? Because I think the bad boy act is just that.
