I have a new 38 gallon tank that I have setup with coral/gravel substrate, lots of rocks, three plants and several snails. I have around a 7.5pH.
I wanted to get some mbuna cichlids...but my husband is trying to steer me towards the american/new world cichilds.
So, what and how many would you recommend for this size tank and setup?
We've looked at some websites and like convicts, firemouths, blue rams, bolivian rams, and green terrors. Would cory cats mix well with there guys or what about red-tailed sharks?
Does anyone have some good suggestions on what species get along well with each other? I'm kinda interested in breeding but don't think our community tank with be large enough.
How many of each should I get and does anyone know a good online source for buying fish? My LFS doesn't have much of a selection.
Thanks in advance for your help!!
