MAFIA #5 The Play.....

judge, in all fairness, you are a very very minor element of a very tentative list.

secondly, you found nobody yet. Joander has pretty much put himself out there as a good suspect (I know, you're voting for him).

thirdly, I notice you on clown lovers list, and I believe Ice as well.

I'm lucky enough to know I'm innocent and can play freely for that reason - as far as I'm concerned anybody gunning for me will definitly further perk my mafia meter.

Its not really a top 3 because as I said its early and can change. Its more of a I'm watching.
If thats the case then...

1. DangerDoll - simply due to the finger pointing right away with nothing to base it on.

2. JoAnder - While he is a newbie like myself, but the proposed slip up does indeed need further investigation.

3. Ice - Sorry but you were the detective last game so it would be concevable that you would be mafia this game.

4. Corey Lover - due to his lack of posting.

5. Judge - She was a great innocent last game, and as stated would make a great mafia this game.

But as you said everyone needs watching..

Mark starts to get into cleaning out the hardware store. There is dirt everywhere, rodent droppings.. (Guess I'm gonna have to call the exterminator..) As he goes through the store he finds several old ACVille Rag issues. They prove to be an interesting read..

I don't understand the reasoning that a player was something last game so obviously its possible he'd be opposite this game. The game roles are random.

Using that logic most of us are mafia lol.

But this is why its good to put names out. That way we can weed out the innocents from the mafias.

And to be fair it is a watch and learn list.. While the judge is playing, she is playing somewhat differently this round. I don't know if that is because of lessons learned or what exactly yet. But she is also at the bottom.

Simple.. I used to DM AD&D back in the day.. You mixed the game up to make it interesting. While a random generator is being used, how fun would it be if people always ended up mafia or innocents. You have to throw some diversity into the game.

If someone ended up mafia one game, as a DM I might "fudge" the number so to speak, or reroll until I got an outcome that I wanted in order to make the game more interesting for everyone.

It really helps if people would post their lists out there...in fact, if you go back to game 4, you'll see that the people posting lists, trying to analyse etc. are 99% innocent...I'd get suspicious at a certain point (not now, too early) of people who had not contributed to the investigative work.

I'm starting to suspect Clown for questioning the integrity of our fearless leader Bob. Plus, his initials are also CL. lol

O jeeeez! Here we go...jo, you really need to read game 4 and see how cl's nonsense posting got'em in trouble. I can't tell if you are just really confused or a slipped-up mafia because you're a newb. I think it's pretty obvious that the vets need to be watched because they always have a few tricks up their sleeves.

Knowing why you suspect someone helps others see why they should also take a better look. Hopefully if the person is an innocent something someone notices will help pull them from the list.

We can't just be looking for mafia, there are only 4 we need to also be able to clear innocents from the list.

This is a good plan. Don't just look at who you think are mafia, look at everyone and try to determine a group of people you trust.

Heh, I used to role-play too and I've been doing this for a while. I've seen people never be mafia. There are 18 players, that's less than a 1 in 4 chance of being mafia and about a 1 in 3 chance of being any role. Go with the odds here. If we think rb fudged the numbers... I wouldn't want to play.

well, when you think about it... everything somebody says has potential of being turned agaisnt them, and making them seem like a mafia. For instance, we all know what i have said through-out this thread, and i am on many peoples "watch" list now. But there are other people who have made themselves suspects as well. Even by not saying anything, at all you can be made a suspect, because it would seem through your lack of posts or interest, you are hiding something.

I believe i could make a valid point, for everyone who has posted or not posted to be a mafia. So how do we know, and how do we vote?

Id like to see what other people think at this point, because it seems pretty much random to me, at least up to this point or until we learn more.

Judging peoples reactions through typing chat, is a very hard thing to do.... you cant detect changes in there emotions, or voice/stress patterns. I think some body needs to be lynched, and then maybe, just maybe we can learn a few new things.
