gee, as happy as i am that i didnt get voted my self, its rough to lose a towny. Now lets everyone, be smart....and see what we can get here in day 2, we dont want to lose to innocents.... i understand that there is still a cloud of suspicion around me, but like i said... lets be smart and not lose two innocents.

People who i think need further watching, are DD and KOTD. They both seem to be laying back some-what, but also seem to be jumping on what ever lynch wagon arises. They just do not seem right to me.

IMO, the vote last night makes you more suspect since CL2 was innocent... It looks like they may have protected their own with those votes...

Probably and I'll go out on a limb a bit based on what I've seen so far...

I vote to lynch Zsandman.

I still suspect JMax, but the voting may not support my "fears" and Jo is looking more innocent to me.

See the typo...dont want to lose to innocents and then changed it to dont want to lose 2 townies....hhhmmm...

since Jo has the most votes, I vote to lynch Malbri...

Why would you throw a vote out that has no relevance at all? I could see if it was early in the day but right at night fall?

This struck me as VERY odd.

O jeez! This is my second time playing and I still feel like a complete newb...right now I'm a little nervous of those who talked about the whole random number thing with all the probabilties. Is the mafia trying to assure us that an innocent is going to be lynched tonight? I know that it's "mathmatically probable" but why come out and say it with all of the numbers and such. Just because there is a good chance that we will lynch a townie doesn't mean we shouldn't try to find a mafia on night 1.

Newb,confused.... Still not convincing me you're not mafia. You're going to really show me something to get off my list. That post about less posting is still stuck in my throat.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. If joander is mafia his is more of a threat to the mafia than the town. Mafia will follow the crowd when it comes to votes. While none will necessarily off one of their own on the first night by starting a lynching bandwagon they could very well help swing the voting patterns by mistake.

Alright, after reviewing I'm going to throw a few thoughts out there and see what happens.

Suspected Mafia:

Coler is making me nervous. Not because he's voted for me, I'm not exactly sure. "Methinks thou dost protest too much." He's made a pretty big show of "proving his innocence", and I'm not sure I'm buying it.

Joander, because of all the previously mentioned slips, and I definitely get the sense of some backing and filling going on, but again it could be newbie nerves.

Jpappy basically told jo in one post to "simmer down"...one mafioso to another? One might lead us the another, worth watching.

JM, as previously mentioned, but she is always tough to read. With her play in the last game, I was convinced at several points she was mafia. She's tough to read, but in any case she's good and makes me nervous, because she can be fairly influential.

Suspected innocent

JM...yes, I know. At one point there were 4 or 5 posts where I was on some lists, and she stated she did not get a vibe from me...If she was mafia, she would know that I was innocent and possibly try to get a bandwagon started. Didn't happen, so basically I'm just totally confused by her.

HN and ZSand I also feel pretty comfortable about, with their voting patterns. I think they were both just trying to extract some information, which apparently they did.

Mal, for a while was worrying me, but I think she's just a younger player and it shows. I think the innocent bit is sincere, based on reactions.


So, where does that leave me...I feel fairly secure in following ZSand or HN right now, but I really don't feel that a vote against JM is warranted quite yet, and clown-lover is giving me nothing right now, so I can't go that way. I also don't want to jump on the jo wagon. I revoke my vote for Malbri and vote to lynch Jpappy789. This will probably be it for me, but we'll see how the rest of the day goes.

I know Coler and Z seem to think Sploke might be innocent, I trust them as being innocent, but Sploke makes this list then his vote makes no sense to me. Coler is on the list at the top! Jpappy gets the vote. Is that because there was no reason to vote for someone that was going to be hit that night?

Hmmm Malbri was just watching but disappeared.

Why wouldn't you vote? I don't like the I vote to lynch no one but to be on the thread and not vote at all is pretty odd.

I don't really see Zman as a mafia, just not feeling it. JM, is hard to read.I'd hate to vote her out to soon. She really came on for the innocents in the middle of last game. Might need to put her on a back burner and see if she comes up with another magic list.

I do think you are innocent though. You play a lot like I do.

judge...it took her a day and a night to catch most of the mafia. she is posting the same way she did last game

ogre...always helpful full of info, i think he has a tail that was revealed in game 3, i havent seen it yet this game, but it's early.

Keeping a watch(strange post or inconsistent post, based on previous games)

Jo...obvius mistake early in the game worth watchin atleast

Ice...i think the mafia hav split up into roles. with so few of em they can't afford to be seen together. It think ull see good cop bad cop type thing(ice is bad cop, waiting on good cop.

I still say that everyone should post their top three and then we all select from amoung those. Last 2 games, that never worked because we had so many 'revelations' early. This one might be a long one.


My top three (based on voting patterns) and not necessarily in any particular order.

1) Jensons - clinch vote for clown and her 'coin flip between clown and jo' comment makes it seem like she doesn't care which as long as one of them goes (post 373)

2) Sploke - fairly early lynch vote for malbri (post 257), then switches to jpappy (post 336). These were players that no one had even much discussed and no one had voted for or really even suggested voting for. Could be a case of a mafia hiding by not getting involved with someone who's about to be lynched.

3) Hooked Newbie - this one makes a lot of sense if Sploke is mafia too. He votes to lynch sploke fairly early (184), then when some others also vote sploke, backs away from him. This might be a mafia voting for a compatriot when there's no real danger, but backing away when more votes head that direction. As I recall, about the time hooked backed up, the vote was nearly tied.
