I Have 2 weather loaches that won't leave eachother alone, one tries to go off on his own and the smaller one swims in circles around him and "Cuddles" with him but its not stop and it irritating the other one. What is going on here? Mating or what?

Do they have plenty of hides? Might help.

Those types of loaches tend to be social fish. They like being around there own kind.

That is basically how they normally behave.

I have 2 in my 30g tall and they follow each other everywhere. Upping it to four once I move my false j's into the hundred gallon. Make sure they have small, slender hiding places that only they can get into. Helps a bunch if you only have a pair as opposed to 4+.
