Hi, i recently (about a week ago) got a banded leporinus from my Local fish store. It is about a foot long, and moves around and chases my fish . However, i havent seen it eat since i got it , but he doesnt looked starved. But, yesturday i saw him change colors to a grayish tone, and is still that color even today. Please help hes a p cool fish.

Good news, it's dark pigment is nearly gone and it is moving well, but I still can't get it to eat. Any suggestions anyone?

lots of driftwood, establish 1 year ago,tried to feed it flakes and hikari pellets

he likes to hide in his drifthood shelter, and turns pale at night, but he color comes back to normal by noon
