Please ID my Pleco

Hey everyone, So i bought this guy at a LFS as just a common Pleco but Ive had many common Plecos and they usually don't have leopard print like this one does and after a year or so they get too big for the tank this guy seems to stay this size which I love. Any help would be appreciated.

Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus is the species of pleco you have there. It will eventually get up to about 12" SL (That's from the tip of the nose to the point where the tail meets the body).

I agree with Narwal's ID. It's growth rate will depend on food supply & clean water...& tank size to some extent. What size tank do you have? The absolute minimum for long term is a 75g IMO.
