Yeah, it may be a little late for selective thinning, more like pulling out handfuls.
I'm just leaving it this way for now. The Cherry shrimp are very happy!

Well, I like a jungle tank! But it's time to do a major weeding. Don't you have any hardscape in there? I don't see any. I like some rocks or wood, just IMO.

I also go for a big plant thinning...just before a plant club meet if I can wait. That way I can share & maybe have room for something else :cool:

I eventually pulled some plants out of the foreground , and the white clouds appreciate the open area where they can hang out together.
Pearlweed is running amok in this tank now, so it's still overgrown and is becoming a haven for my rcs shrimp.P1010604.JPG
